In this 90-minute interactive workshop\, participants will explore worldviews: the largely invisible values and assumptions that shape what we notice\, what we trust\, and what we resist. Participants will take a short worldview assessment and consider three major worldviews active in the United States today — traditional\, modern\, and progressive — and why they so often talk past one another. This workshop offers a practical introduction for anyone interested in personal growth\, intellectual exploration\, or better dialogue across differences. \nTo make the workshop convenient for more people\, the same 90-minute session will be offered several times this summer. Each session begins at 9:30 AM. SUMMARY:Understanding Your Own Worldview—and the Perspectives of Others
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 27\, LMH Room A\, 9:30-11am. \nWhy do thoughtful people see the same world so differently? In this 90-minute interactive workshop\, participants will explore worldviews: the largely invisible values and assumptions that shape what we notice\, what we trust\, and what we resist. Participants will take a short worldview assessment and consider three major worldviews active in the United States today — traditional\, modern\, and progressive — and why they so often talk past one another. This workshop offers a practical introduction for anyone interested in personal growth\, intellectual exploration\, or better dialogue across differences. \nTo make the workshop convenient for more people\, the same 90-minute session will be offered several times this summer. Each session begins at 9:30 AM.
